What is Alpha?

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day or weekend away.

Alpha is a place where answers to key questions of life can be discovered through discussion and relationship, and where each person’s faith can develop at their own pace, without pressure from others.

About the Alpha course

Millions of people all over the world have now attended an Alpha course. In Malaysia, Alpha runs in hundreds of churches throughout the country as well as in homes, schools, national service camps, workplaces, homes for the elderly and prisons.

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening setting. It takes place over ten weekly sessions, and also includes a weekend away.

The Alpha course is designed primarily for people who aren't regular churchgoers and each course is open to everyone who would like to attend.
