The testimony of Lee Foong Yen:

Alpha for me started with Cynthia Wong who was then a colleague of mine. On her last day at work (of course she did not tell me she’s leaving the company) I actually looked her up coincidentally and she told me she’s leaving a good job for a greater one.

We talked about Alpha. It rang a bell because my dad whom I can never understand, temperamental and never able to have a decent conversation with, actually attended Alpha.

God changed my dad. Dad and I became good friends, great buddies indeed! My dad is God’s testimony for me. It amazes me how God can change my dad, whom I thought was incorrigible.

Through great perseverance I finished Alpha within 16 months! Cynthia, May and Vikki never gave up on me and being true mentors, they helped me in every Alpha session.

Before the Alpha course ended, my father-in-law passed away but just before he did, he accepted the Lord when Christians came to minister to him. And my mother-in-law told me she saw a bright light in the room as my father-in-law breathed his last breath. This helped me in my journey to seek God.

Each Alpha session will be as interesting as the participants make it. I accepted the Lord Jesus as my personal savior and my life was never the same after. I feel a joy and peace in me that's unexplainable. By God's grace I live, by His love I grow, by His mercy I am forgiven.

It's amazing how God chose me (an imperfect soul) to enter His heavenly kingdom even before I know Him. My soul weeps remembering how Jesus Christ died the most painful death at the cross; how He bore all my sins and sacrificed Himself in exchange for a place for me in Heaven.

My God is my Rock who never fails me. He gives me courage, joy, peace, forgiveness and love upon others.

I have faith in God, I pray to Him, I believe in Him and I receive. Let me illustrate further,

I have great faith in God, I prayed that my husband will support me being a Christian. I believe God will work his miracle and my husband was baptized with me on October 4th 2010. We attend Church together and he prays often. I am so blessed. Praise God!

I have great faith in God, I pray for my family’s salvation, I believe God will work His miracle and now my mother-in-law will be attending Senior Alpha in FGA this coming Saturday, Feb 19, 2011.

I have great faith in God’s healing, I pray for my aunty who was hit by a 3-ton lorry in December 2010 that broke her entire body, she lost her calves, many open wounds and her organs were weakened after the accident. I believe God is working His miracle in healing because my aunty is now out of ICU after 1 month and in normal hospital ward. She still needs a lot of operations to graft her calves and mend her bones, but she has overcome the most dangerous period in her life. She is also praying to God for her healing although she is not a Christian yet.

To all Alpha participants, I pray for your salvation and I have great faith that God will invite you in to His Heavenly Kingdom.
